There are a few Guidelines we need to point out to make your time with us as easy and of course enjoyable as possible.
Parking: Please park where directed by the Stable Managers - The Potter Family. Please make sure you have a minimum 3kg Fire Extinguisher on your lorry.
Important Safety Note: Please ensure that you have your contact details clearly shown on your windscreen of your Lorry/Caravan - in case of an emergency so we can contact you quickly.
Dogs: We welcome dogs to Sandringham House and we love to see them. Estate rules are that ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES - any found without will be traced to their owners and a fine administered. Dog poo bags will be available from the Stable Managers - so there is absolutely no excuse not to scoop the poop!
Exercising: For both the Driving & Ridden Athletes, we will provide a different marked exercise route. Riding; a Hard Hat must be worn at all times.
During Exercise; Whenever horses are driven, a Groom must be on the carriage or if there is no seat/backstep available, a Groom must be in close attendance at all times.
Contravening any of the above safety rules will result in Disciplinary Action.
Saturday Evening BBQ at the Windsor Arena Marquee - along with entertainment starting at 7p.m. with a Fantastic Classic BBQ Menu including desserts by Glam Easts.

Catering & Trade Stands: Various again this year - From Thursday onwards there will be serving various foods and drinks - all situated by the Windsor Arena - Also our favourite Jack-In-A-Box - for those of you who might have forgot something when packing in a hurry!
1. The Butcher and Village Store in West Newton is open for meat, bread, milk, Thur/Fri & (Sat until 1.)
2. There is a special chemical toilet emptying tank situated by the end of the Lorry Park near the ‘Wild Boar Wood’ in the square bushes, with fresh water to wash it out properly if necessary. Very close to the Portaloos.
Please do not empty them into the portaloos.
3. Several Wheelie Bins are provided for domestic waste and there are separate signs for horse waste; please do not mix the two / bin bags supplied to help. HM King Charles III has requested that competitors are asked not touse single use plastic bottles and definitely do not discard them around the Estate grounds, please use the bins provided. We will supply bin bags – or be GREEN and take your recycling home. Please keep the area clean and clear around your camp during your stay and tidy up when you leave – thank you for your co-operation.
4. Competitors must familiarise themselves with British Carriagedriving (BC) rulebook for Competitors especially General Regulations for all British Carriagedriving Horse Driving Trials, Paragraph 8, with regard to the COMPULSORY use of matting in the Stabling Area. Please leave your stable area clean when leaving.
5. The Sandringham Estate and Health Safety Executive have made it mandatory that hard hats are worn on quads and motorbikes. ATVs and Quads must only carry the number of people for which they are designed in accordance with BC General Regulations and must not be ridden by children. No motorised vehicles are permitted in the obstacle area, except for holders of BC disability card.
Contravening the Safety Rules will result in Disciplinary Action.
6. Please treat this venue with respect and take great care when moving around the site, especially during evenings when light levels are low.
7. Please keep your vehicles / Caravans locked when not present and also at night. You and your belongings enter this venue / site at your own risk. It is your own Duty of Care. Sandringham Horse Driving Trials Event and their agents, employees and representatives, will take all reasonable care to ensure that this event is conducted in a safe manner. Neither Sandringham Horse Driving Trials Event nor their agents, employees and representatives accepts liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to visitors, exhibitors, animals or any other person or property whatsoever whether caused by their negligence, or breach of contract in any way whatsoever.
8. We have been asked to vacate the site by 1200 noon on Monday after the event. For those who wish to stay on Sunday night.
